THANK YOU!!! July 31, 2008

Well, the SCID Conference is over and I want to thank those of you who attended and made this such a huge success.  The faculty was amazing and I believe something new was learned by all of us.  We couldn’t have asked for a nicer weekend or a more beautiful location.

I just want to share a few of the remarkable comments that I have heard from some of the families and even the speakers:

“I very much enjoyed the weekend, participating and getting to meet families.”

I think we should all pat ourselves on the back and say “job well done.”

It’s Finally Here! July 21, 2008

I can’t believe the conference is going to be this weekend. I’m looking forward to meeting new people, rekindling old relationships, and seeing people that I call a ” true friend.”

Remember conference registration begins at 4:00 pm on Friday. Please bring your auction items with you to registration, as there will be some one there to take the items from you. The auction will be on Saturday evening, during dinner.

Here’s to safe travel and I’ll see you on Friday at registration!!!

Information in the Mail. July 6, 2008

I sent out the packets on Saturday, July 5, 2008 so be expecting them to arrive in the mail this week.  Please review the information and let me know ASAP if I need to make any changes to your room reservation.

For dinner on Saturday we are having a themed event.  Our theme is going to be “Survivor,” feel free to dress for the occasion if you like.  For those of you who have watched the tv show, you know that episodes are full of “challenges”, “tribal counsel” and an “immunity idol.”   We will have our own “family challenges” and the winner will receive the “SCID Conference 2008 Immunity Idol.”

Counting Down the Days!!! July 2, 2008

The countdown has begun.  We have 23 days left until the SCID Conference.  Just a quick update, I’m in the process of putting informational packets together for everyone attending the conference.  Each packet will include:

1.  Updated Agenda

2.  Supply List/Rules

3.  Confirmation of your Room Reservation

4.  Directions

5.  General Informaiton

Please expect these packets to be mailed out by the end of this week.
